Just a reminder to all ramen fans! Pork bone broth is "TONKOTSU", NOT "TONKATSU". TonkAtsu is breaded deep fried port cutlet, not pork bone broth!!
Hint: If a server says Tonkatsu Ramen at a restaurant, don't expect authentic ramen. Ton = Pork🐷, kotsu = Bone🍖

Ramen Shiro - Yokosuka, Kanagawa 🇯🇵 らぁ麺しろ - 神奈川県横須賀市

Today I went to try Tori Paitan Ramen, which is not too common in the Yokosuka area. This shop just opened in March 2018.
今日は横須賀では珍しい鶏白湯のお店に行ってきました。今年の3月にオープンしたばかりのお店です。
Tori Paitan Ramen - 780 Yen + Ajitama 100 Yen
鶏白湯らーめん - 780円 + 味玉 100円
 Looks beautiful. Soup was not thick paitan, but was full of chicken umami. The vegetables not only look good, they matched very well with the paitan.
美しい。鶏白湯スープはあっさり、でも鶏の旨味たっぷり。野菜も綺麗だけではなくスープにとても合ってました。
 Thin noodles, matching the light paitan soup.
細麺、スープとグッドマッチ。
 Very small shop with just 5 counter seats, but clean and modern.
カウンター5席の小さいお店。清潔でいい感じ。

If you want Tori Paitan Ramen in the Yokosuka area, this is definitely worth going to! I will try to return for their Tori Chintan.
